Although
skating participation has declined, the sport still
boasts 17 million participants in the United States
alone. More importantly, there are millions of ex-skaters
who could be lured back with an exciting marathon circuit
and millions more who might take up the sport to participate.
Remember the Pepsi Challenge 10K running events that
helped launch the road race boom? The same can be done
for inline skating. If you work for a company that would
