Andrea skated in her first race, the Rollerblade America Tour, in the summer of 1993. Two years later she was asked to join Team Skate 2000 as part of their competitive racing team. Since then she has accumulated over 75 medals and trophies. She has skated and completed several inline marathons including Long Beach, the Northshore Inline Marathon, Marco Island, and New York. She just recently won her age division in the Advanced Category of the Disney Inline Marathon. Andrea has also completed the 86-mile Athens to Atlanta Road Skate 3 times; been featured on television shows such as Inline America, Rollerjam, and the children's TV show Adrenaline; and was a guest on the Geraldo Rivera show for skating after and capturing a thief in Miami. Andrea is a full time skating instructor and coach. " I get a real kick out of helping people develop their skills and watching them come across the finish line for their first time. Sometimes just one little pointer is all a person needs to improve. Skating faster is all about technique and using less energy to go the distance."

Cheryl was at one time the winningest female inline skater in the world. She was a five-times member of the United States World Team and a 12-time World Champion. She is still the USA record holder for the 3000M track, 15000M track, 3000M road, and 21000M (half marathon) road events. She has won the New York 100K (1994), the Disney World Marathon (1995), the Northshore Inline Marathon (1996) and the Longbeach Marathon (1997). In 1996, she was selected as the USA Rollersports Athlete of the Year. Despite all these skating successes, Cheryl is equally proud of being the single mom to two great boys, Riley and Travis. She is thrilled to be passing her Marathon Secrets on to you – the first of which is that “It takes Heart, Strong Will, Dedication, and Determination to be a champion at anything you do in life”.

Liz Miller started "pumping iron" in 1980 to get stronger for lugging around the heavy scuba gear needed for diving in California's chilly Pacific ocean. Her focus on bodybuilding brought home 3 trophies and the eventual realization that competition was anything but holistic. Diversifying into other sports, Liz took up inline skating in 1991 and now is a Certified Instructor, Skate Tour Guide for Zephyr Inline Skate Tours, and author of three skating books plus the website www.GetRolling.com. Liz discovered Yoga in 2000 and now incorporates traditional Hatha, Ashtanga and Lyengar poses into her workout routine. She was quoted extensively in the December 2002 issue of Yoga Journal in an article about yoga for inline skaters.
