Zephyr’s MarathonSkating.com is a project of Zephyr Adventures. Zephyr was started in 1997 as the
first inline skating tour company in the world. Since
then, the company has expanded to include Skate Tours in 12 North American and European locations including such destinations as Quebec, Switzerland, and Florida. Zephyr also runs two-day Camp Rollerblade instructional clinics for adult beginners in cities across the United States. For more information see www.ZephyrAdventures.com or www.CampRollerblade.com .
Zephyr is run by Allan Wright, who is also the main coordinator
of the MarathonSkating.com website. Allan has competed in
four inline skating marathons in the Advanced Division, placing
in his age group in three of those events. He has also completed
five running marathons: London, Moscow, Frankfurt, Boston,
and Chicago.
The goals of MarathonSkating.com are to:

Help promote skating marathons across the world with
the goal of making them as popular as running marathons
• Encourage more people to skate a marathon
• Provide the information and structure required
to help skaters improve their Personal Record marathon
skating times
